Yemen Haraaz Yemenia Deep Ferementation
From the ancient fabled mountains of Haraaz in western Yemen, this coffee is cultivated at altitudes of 1,800 to 2,350 MASL. Residents speak highly of the region’s consistent climate, which, combined with fertile mountainous soil, produces exceptional coffee. The hand-harvested coffee cherries undergo a deep fermentation process, involving slow drying for over 30 days and double-layering to create faux anaerobic conditions.
At the heart of this extraordinary coffee lies the newly discovered Yemenia genetics, a groundbreaking discovery unique to Yemen, offering a glimpse into previously unexplored coffee diversity. Emerging from this intersection of meticulous processing, multi-generational farming practices, and unique Yemeni genetics, this coffee offers a one-of-a-kind experience for both seasoned and new Yemeni coffee lovers.
