CONGO BOURBON DECAF WASHED
DRC - Muungano Cooperative - South Kivu
Muungano means “togetherness” in Swahili and that’s how this co-operative operates. Based in South Kivu, in the eastern highlands of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Muungano brings together over 4,300 smallholder farmers working across steep, volcanic slopes between 1,400 and 2,100 metres above sea level.
This is a single variety Bourbon lot, grown organically on small plots and processed centrally by the co-op to improve quality and consistency. The result is a decaf that’s smooth, sweet, and quietly complex, with notes of maple, nougat, chocolate, and molasses.
South Kivu is a region with rich soils, ideal altitude, and a long but often overlooked coffee history.
Shipping Policy
We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. Orders placed between Monday and Thursday before midnight will be dispatched the following day.
Orders placed from Friday to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday.

Returns Policy
To ensure you receive the freshest product, all coffee is roasted to order. Due to the perishable nature of coffee and food items, we are unable to accept returns.
If you experience an issue with your order or are dissatisfied, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. Our team will investigate and, if necessary, offer a suitable resolution such as a replacement or a refund of the purchase price.
