Colombia Co-Fermented Lemon Candy Geisha

This co-fermented Geisha coffee from Finca Villa Maria in Colombia’s Huila department offers a unique and experimental twist on the celebrated Geisha variety. Grown at altitudes between 1,300 and 1,800 MASL, the coffee benefits from the region’s fertile soil and ideal climate. What sets this Geisha apart is the fermentation during post-harvest processing. Natural flavours—such as fruits, spices, or botanicals—are added during fermentation, allowing the coffee to absorb these distinct elements. The result is a layered cup, combining the bright acidity and floral notes of jasmine and exotic fruits that Geisha is famous for, with additional complexity from the co-fermentation.

The Geisha variety gained global recognition in the early 2000s by winning prestigious coffee competitions, quickly becoming one of the world’s most celebrated varieties. Its rarity and exclusivity, combined with the innovative co-fermentation process, make this Geisha a truly exceptional coffee.
